Return information (whether full or partial) is now displayed directly on the original sales transaction—no new transaction is created.
This keeps all sale and return data in one place for easy reference and accurate reporting.
Two new columns have been added:
Return Status: Displays "No Return", "Partial Return", or "Full Return".
Return Amount: Shows the total monetary value of returned items.
A Return Status filter allows merchants to quickly find transactions that had returns.
A new Returns tab gives merchants a dedicated space to view and manage all return-related transactions.
Sales Detail Page Update
A new Returned Items section shows:
Each returned item
Quantity returned
Unit
Amount
Store
Initiator
This section is only shown when a return has been recorded on the transaction.
Improved Accuracy: Ensure every return is properly logged against the original sale, reducing errors in reports and audits.
Faster Reconciliation: Clearly see how much was refunded and why—ideal for end-of-day accounting.
Better Customer Service: Quickly resolve disputes or customer inquiries with visible return records.
Time Savings: Filter and track returns without digging through multiple transactions.
Insightful Reporting: Understand which products are frequently returned to make better inventory and pricing decisions.
We’ve introduced a Status filter on the Debtors page to make debt tracking more efficient and actionable.
Merchants can now filter debtor records by payment status:
Debt Owed – Shows customers who still have outstanding balances.
Settled – Displays customers whose debts have been fully paid.
Excess Deposit – Highlights customers who have paid more than the amount owed.
This enhancement gives businesses a clearer picture of where each customer stands financially.
Improved Collection Workflow: Easily identify and follow up with customers who owe money.
Faster Reconciliation: Spot overpayments or completed payments without manually scanning through all records.
Better Decision-Making: Quickly assess customer credit behavior and adjust future sales strategies accordingly.
Time-Saving: Eliminate guesswork by filtering records based on precise payment statuses.
Professional Reporting: Use the filtered views to support financial reports and audits with clean, categorized data.
To help merchants get better visibility into their customers’ purchasing patterns and payment behavior, we’ve introduced a Customer Sales Summary at the bottom of each Debtor’s Statement of Account.
This high-level overview summarizes customer activity within the selected date range. It includes:
Payment Method Breakdown – Displays all payment types used (cash, credit, split, store wallet).
Orders – Number of orders placed per payment method.
Products – Total products purchased through each method.
Amount (NGN) – Total amount spent using each payment method.
Located below the summary, this section provides a line-by-line breakdown of every transaction:
Date & Time
Order Number
Payment Method
Amount (NGN)
Cashier
Store
This gives users a complete audit trail for verifying purchases and payment flows.
Holistic View of Customer Behavior: Understand how each customer prefers to pay and what they frequently purchase.
Simplified Reconciliation: Quickly match payments to orders without digging through individual receipts.
Informed Follow-Up: Know how much a customer has bought vs. what they’ve paid—ideal for timely and effective debt recovery.
Improved Financial Analysis: Spot trends in cash vs credit purchases, identify high-volume customers, and refine pricing or loyalty strategies.
Operational Transparency: See who handled each transaction, at which store, and when, for accountability and reporting.
