This release introduces improvements across procurement, inventory alerts, customer data, and pharmacy workflows, helping businesses operate with greater flexibility, accuracy, and insight.
Below are the latest updates now available on Lumi.
Businesses can now change the supplier on approved Purchase Orders (POs), with automatic updates reflected in supplier ledgers.
Mistakes in supplier selection or last-minute changes previously required workarounds or manual corrections. This update ensures supplier records and financial data remain accurate without disrupting operations.
• Supplier changes are allowed on Approved POs
• When updated:
The new supplier ledger is updated
The previous supplier ledger is adjusted accordingly
• Draft and In-Review POs can still be edited as usual via Update PO
• Accurate supplier financial records
• Reduced manual corrections
• Better procurement flexibility
Merchants can now set bulk stock alert timelines for expiring products across all inventory.
Set how far in advance you want to receive expiry alerts (e.g., 24 weeks).
After the first alert:
• The system automatically reverts to standard alert intervals
• New products and batches follow the same logic
Businesses, especially pharmacies, need early visibility into expiring stock to avoid losses and plan inventory movement.
• Reduced inventory waste
• Better stock planning
• Proactive expiry management
Customer profiles now include a Gender field, available during checkout and in the Customer module.
More complete customer data enables better segmentation, reporting, and personalized engagement especially for healthcare and pharmacy businesses.
• Improved customer insights
• Better targeting for campaigns and loyalty programs
• Enhanced reporting capabilities
The Prescription Overlay has been reinstated in Sell Mode, allowing pharmacies to generate and manage prescription details after checkout.
